mag takedown; octagon barrel. Factory
engraved in a light style. 97% bright
heavy blue. Strong case colors on
hammer, lever and crescent butt. Perfect
bore. Drilled and tapped for receiver
sight. Very fancy walnut wood. This
rifle retains its “new look” in both
wood and metal, and is the best 1894
I’ve owned. 100% confirming museum

A rare one that was made "all nickel except barrel." Receiver has 15% nickel and
magazine tube has some thin nickel. There is rust damage mostly on right side of
receiver, barrel and magazine. Fair bore; VG wood, which is somewhat fancy. All
markings sharp.
