Richards Conversion of 1860 Army Colt Cal. 44CF ~ C-03-44
Very rare variation with 12 cylinder stops. Smooth with a pleasing aged thin blue. Good markings and traces of cylinder scene. Wedge unnumbered; GOOD bore and action. GOOD grips, missing very small chips. All matching, and in the correct SN range. Extra cylinder stops "blew out," due to being over the chambers where metal was thin. See The Book of Colt Firearms by R.L. Sutherland and R.L. Wilson.
